If you have problems sharing your screen, there are a couple of things you can try, which will usually fix the problem:
Use Chrome or Edge
Screensharing works best in those two browsers. You can share your screen in other browsers, but the experience will be different. For more information, see here.
Make sure your browser has permission.
Particularly on a Mac, it's possible that your browser doesn't have permission to access your screen sharing feature. You can read how to resolve this below.
Give your browser screensharing permission on a Mac
With the last versions of Firefox and Chrome on Mac computers, some users have found that they cannot use our screen sharing feature in the Virtual Classroom.
You can fix this by following the next few steps:
In your Mac, you can edit your permissions by going to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > scroll down to "Screen Recording" and enable Firefox and/or Chrome > Restart your browser, and screen sharing will work:
Note: (we have heard from some users who have to unselect and reselect the browsers on this list, so please try it if it's not updated on the first try).
