Even in schools with a student-directed booking flow, it is possible to manually edit student enrollment in courses and classes.
The Students Tab
In the Course or Class Detail view, you will see a Students tab beside on the right-hand side. Here, you can find a comprehensive and actionable view of student statuses:
Status | Description |
Enrolled | Fully enrolled students |
Part-Enrolled (courses only) | Students enrolled in only some of the classes |
Pending | Students selected but not yet confirmed for enrolment |
Cancelled | Previously enrolled students who cancelled |
Available | Students eligible for enrolment based on credits and requirements |
All | A full searchable list of all eligible students based on the time range selected on the settings panel. |
Enrolling Students in Individual Classes
To enrol students, click on the Available tab on the Student Panel. This will show you a list of all students who are available and have sufficient credits.
You can search for the student by username or name using the search bar.
To add a student click on the Add button.
Then, click on the Pending tab to double-check your student list. When you are happy, click the Enrol button on the bottom right.
When you confirm Pending students, they will be enrolled into the class.
Enrolling Students in Courses
Enrolling students into courses is the same as for individual classes. However, when you confirm Pending students, they will be enrolled into all classes in the course, and you will see them in the Enrolled tab.
It's also possible to partially enrol students.
Partial Enrolment
If you want to add students to only some classes in a course, but not all:
Select the classes you want using the checkbox in the Course Classes panel.
Then navigate to the Students panel and enrol available students as normal.
Students who are enrolled in only some classes will show up in the Part Enrolled tab.
In your Course Classes panel, you can hover over the Enrolled field to see which students are enrolled in which class.
Open Courses for Self-Enrollment
When creating courses, you can set them to Self Enrol, enabling open enrolment classes.
This option replaces the recurring classes in the legacy system, and allows more flexibility.
Students can:
View available classes to choose from
Choose and enrol in only the ones they want
Use credits only for the selected classes, rather than the entire course
β
Admins can:
Keep self-enrolled classes open while still retaining control
Enrol students in all classes in one click (if students have sufficient credits)
Enrol students in specific classes as needed
Important: For the open courses option to be available for students to view, your school must enable this feature as part of their booking flow. If you're interested in using it but can't see it at the moment, please contact our team for assistance.
