Folders allow you to organise your files efficiently. Each teacher has their own folder*. Any files uploaded in the classroom will be added to this folder.
*note: new teachers' folders won't appear on the list until they have logged into their account at least once.

Creating content library folders
To create a new folder:
Click on the "Add folder" button on the top right of your Library Admin.
You will be asked to give your folder a name and description. The folder will be assigned to you.
To create the folder, click on the "Add Folder" button.
Your folder will now appear in the Library Admin, and you can start adding files.
Updating folder properties
You can view and edit a folder's name and description by clicking on the "Folder Info" button.
This will open a properties panel where you can see the folder's information.
You can edit these properties by clicking on the "Edit" button on the bottom of the properties panel.
Sharing folders with teachers & students
If you are using LearnCube's Online School or Online School, you will have the ability to share folders with other users.
Only the folder owner/creator can edit the folder’s contents. This means that to share files with another user, you will need to create a folder and share the contents with them. In some cases, you may want to copy
files into it from another folder.
If you want to share a whole folder with a student or teacher, simply click on the "Share Folder" button.
This will open the edit properties window.
You can see which users can access this folder in the "Permissions" list (1.)
To remove a user, click on the "-" button (2.)
To add a user, click on the "+" button in the sharing panel (3.)
You can search for users by typing their names into the search bar (4.)
Moving lesson materials between folders
Moving a file from one folder to another is now a simple task:
First, select the file by ticking the box on the left-hand side.
Next, click on the "Actions" dropdown menu and select "Move."
Finally, choose the folder you want to move the file(s) to and click on "Move."
Copying lesson materials to multiple folders
You can easily copy files from one folder to another with just one click.
First, select the file (or files) by ticking the box on the left-hand side of each of them.
Next, click on the "Actions" dropdown menu and select "Copy."
Finally, choose the folder you want to copy the file(s) to and click on "Copy."
And you're done!
Deleting a folder
To delete a folder in the content library, click on the "Folder Info" button and then click the trash can button at the bottom of the folder properties panel.
