What is Billing Information?
Your billing information includes the contact and address details that appear on your invoices and receipts. Keeping this information current ensures accurate records for accounting and tax purposes.
What You Can Update
Through the Customer Portal, you can modify:
Company/Organization Name - Business name for invoices
Billing Address - Street address, city, state/province, postal code
Country - Your billing country
Tax ID/VAT Number - For businesses requiring tax identification
Contact Name - Person responsible for billing
Steps to Update Billing Information
1. Log In to the Customer Portal
Visit: https://billing.stripe.com/p/login/4gM6oG8899dx8WS30DcbC00
2. Verify Your Identity
Enter your current billing email and click the login link sent to your inbox.
3. Navigate to Billing Information
Look for "Billing Information" section.
4. Click "Edit"
Select the option to modify your billing details.
5. Make Your Changes
Update any information that needs to be changed:
Correct company name spelling
Update address if you've moved
Add or update tax ID
Change billing contact details
6. Save Your Changes
Click "Save" to confirm your modifications.
7. Verify Updates
Check that your changes appear correctly in the portal.
Important Notes About Changes
When Changes Take Effect:
Updates apply immediately to your account
Future invoices will reflect new information
Previous invoices retain original information
