Steps to Update Your Payment Method
1. Access the Customer Portal
Go to: https://billing.stripe.com/p/login/4gM6oG8899dx8WS30DcbC00
2. Log In with Your Billing Email
Enter your billing email address and click the secure login link sent to your inbox.
3. Find Payment Methods Section
Look for "Payment Methods," "Card Details," or "Billing" in your portal dashboard.
4. Add New Payment Method
Click "Add Payment Method"
5. Enter New Card Details
Provide:
Card number
Expiration date
CVC/CVV security code
Cardholder name
Billing zip/postal code
6. Set as Default (If Applicable)
If you have multiple payment methods, designate which should be used for future charges.
7. Confirm Changes
Save your new payment method. You'll receive confirmation once it's updated.
Failed Payments & Updates
If a payment fails:
You'll receive an email notification
Update your payment method in the portal
Stripe will automatically retry the charge
Update before the retry deadline to avoid service interruption
Common Reasons for Failed Payments:
Expired card
Insufficient funds
Card declined by bank
Billing address mismatch
Card restriction on recurring charges
Multiple Payment Methods
You can store multiple payment methods in the portal:
Useful if you have backup cards
Designate one as the primary/default
System uses default for all charges
Manually select different card if needed
