As part of the ongoing improvements to the new scheduling system and upcoming classes panel, two additional sets of filters are now available. These features are designed to provide you with more flexibility and control when creating, assigning, or reviewing classes, especially useful for schools managing a high volume of sessions or operating across multiple time zones.
These filters join other recently added updates and are part of the broader transformation of the class scheduling experience.
1. Filter by Last Login to Assign Active Users
When scheduling a class or course, you can now filter the list of available users (teachers or students) based on their last login date. This helps ensure that you're assigning people who have been active on the platform recently.
This setting is available on the right-hand side under the Settings panel when creating or editing a class or course.
It is also available in the Upcoming Classes panel to help when updating or assigning users to existing classes.
You can select a time range (e.g., users who logged in within the last 30 or 90 days).
Only users who match that time frame will appear in the list of assignable users.
This filter streamlines the scheduling process by making it easier to find and assign users who are currently engaged and active.
2. New Filters in the Upcoming Classes Panel
Two new view filters have been added to the top right corner of the Upcoming Classes list:
Timezone Preview
This filter lets admins temporarily change the timezone used to display class times:
Helps when working with teachers or students in different timezones.
Allows you to preview how classes appear in other users’ local time.
Useful when creating or adjusting class times based on real-time availability.
This is a temporary view setting; it does not affect the class time itself or user settings.
Date Range for Upcoming Classes
This filter allows you to control how many upcoming classes are shown:
You can view classes scheduled for this month, next month, or a custom range (such as the next 7 days).
This filter is only available in the Upcoming Classes panel.
Especially helpful for schools that schedule a large number of classes and want to focus on a specific time window.
Important: These two filters will be combined based on the settings for the last login date. For example, if you choose to see upcoming classes from users who have logged in within the last six months, those users will only appear in the teachers dropdown list if they have classes booked for the upcoming week. If the teachers do not have any classes booked, they will not appear in the list.
These new filters are part of the continued effort to make scheduling more intuitive, flexible, and efficient. They work alongside other scheduling and assignment tools to help you manage your school’s classes with greater ease.
